The Hamilton Lady Broncs ended their regular basketball season with a victory against Butte Central Friday evening at the Hamilton High School gym. The final score was Hamilton 47 and Butte Central 34.

Hamilton started out strong with a 13 to 5 lead at the end of the first quarter. They continued dominating the scoring and led by a score of 25 to 12 at the half. The gap was even larger at the end of three periods with the Lady Broncs leading the Lady Maroons by 23 points, 41 to 18. At the end of the game, Hamilton had 47 points and Butte Central had 34.

Butte Central continues their season with one more game Saturday against Frenchtown. Checking the standings, the Class A teams throughout the state have similar win-loss records, which will lead to some very tough "play-in" games Monday night, leading into the Class A Divisional tournaments.

For instance, in Butte Friday, the Hamilton Broncs lost to the Butte Central Maroons 61 to 36. Hamilton's conference standing is now 5th place with a 4 and 6 record. Hamilton could be traveling or might be at home for a play-in game Monday evening. We'll let you know after the Saturday night basketball games.
