You could spend part of your summer at Lake Como on the Bitterroot National Forest. The forest is seeking volunteers to be onsite camp hosts at the Three Frogs Campground. The campground is on the northside of the lake. Tod McKay of the forest said the hosts have a nice place to stay during the summer, they get money to cover living expenses and they help the public with information about activities on the Bitterroot National Forest. Lake Como Recreation Area is one of the most popular sites in the Northern Region of the US Forest Service every year.

If you are interested in the volunteer camp host position, contact Sam Cook at the Darby/Sula Ranger District. His number is (406) 821-4298. You can check on other volunteer opportunities at the Bitterroot National Forest's Supervisor's office in Hamilton.
