The Rocky Mountain Grange Hall, just south of Hamilton on US 93, will be site of a bipartisan candidate forum Sunday afternoon, September 27. The 2-hour event will include candidates from Montana legislative House Districts 85, 86, 87 and 88, Senate District 44, and Public Service District 4. All the candidates for those positions have been invited.

So far, these candidates have confirmed their attendance:

  • Jennifer Fielder and Monica Tranel from Public Service Commission District 4
  • Laura Jackson of HD 85
  • David Bedey of HD 86
  • Ron Marshall and Laura Merrill of HD 87
  • Sharon Greef of HD 88
  • Margaret Gorski of SD44
  • At the 2 p.m. forum, Republican and Democratic Central Committee Chairpeople will both be in the audience and moderator will be Steve Fullerton of KLYQ Radio. However, because of COVID-19 restrictions, only 50 people will be allowed in the room, so you need to plan ahead and RSVP at Current COVID-19 restrictions for those attending will include masks, social distancing and sanitizing. Masks will be available at the Grange Sunday. The session will also be "Zoomed" on the internet. Ask for sign-up information at that grange email address.

    The Rocky Mountain Grange is on the east side of Highway 93, south of Hamilton, a half-block north of Lone Pine Conoco.
