The magic and fun of Mary Poppins will fill the Stevensville stage in October.

Clay Freeman of the Stevensville Playhouse board says the play contains much of the music from the Disney movie, which was included in the Cameron Mackintosh Broadway musical. It is the story of a magical nanny who helps a family find the important things in life.

The community theater performances are October 2-4, October 9-11 and October 16-18. The Friday and Saturday night shows will start at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinees will have a 2 p.m. curtain time.

Tickets are $12 for adults and children under 12 will be admitted for $10. Tickets are available Valley Drug, just down the block from the playhouse. You can call the playhouse at (406) 777-2722.
