Saturday's Montana COVID-19 report showed 293 positive tests for the disease in Montana - a new single day record. There are now 2,454 active cases in the state, with 104 people hospitalized, according to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. So far this year, over 10,000 Montanans have been infected by the coronavirus.

By county in the September 19 report - Yellowstone - 89 positive tests, Flathead 40, Deer Lodge 25, Cascade 22, Rosebud 21, Missoula 19, Gallatin 15, Silver Bow 11, Big Horn 9, Custer 9, Valley 5, Lake 4, Ravalli 4, Rosebud 4, Jefferson 3, Hill 2, Richland 2, Sheridan 2 and 1 each in Carbon, Fergus, Lewis & Clark, Lincoln, Toole, Wheatland and Wibaux Counties. The next statewide total will be released mid-morning on Sunday.
