The education specialist at Glacier National Park is becoming the chief of interpretation and education at Big Hole National Battlefield. Laura Law, who has been at Glacier since 2005 will now be working with three different National Park Service (NPS) sites - Nez Perce National Historical Park, Whitman Mission National Historic Site and Big Hole National Battlefield. She starts her new job this month. The Nez Perce National Historical Park involves 38 sites in Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The Whitman Mission is at Walla Walla, Washington, and the Big Hole National Battlefield is southeast of the Bitterroot Valley and is a separate unit of the National Park Service. Laura Law has a masters in science education and has worked for NPS in Alaska, at Olympic National Park and Everglades National Park.
