No New COVID-19 Cases in Montana Saturday
The Saturday, May 23, mid-morning report from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services showed no new COVID-19 cases in the state. The number so far in the pandemic remains at 479, with 16 deaths and 441 persons who've recovered. Three people are in hospitals and others who are infected have been recovering in isolation in their homes. The number of Montanans tested continues to increase - 32,652 so far.
In area counties, Ravalli County has had 13 positive reports, Missoula 39, Lake County 5 and Beaverhead County 1. The two largest totals remain Gallatin County with 149 and Yellowstone County with 88. Ravalli County's increase last week was from an employee group at Hamilton's Stock Farm Club. The club management thanked Ravalli County Public Health for their quick response. One person was treated at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital and the others are recovering in isolation.
