NASA's Dawn spacecraft is orbiting a dwarf planet in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

Ceres has been surprising scientists with bright spots and now some odd geology. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory has released a new video, showing some of the surface highlights.

The video includes narration, noting what features are interesting the experts as they try to figure out how some of the features were created. The scientists are amazed at all the bright material on the surface of this little globe.

The Dawn spacecraft is maneuvering into tighter orbits around the asteroid and the views will be even better as more photos are beamed back to Earth.

With great photos coming from Ceres and Pluto, it's been an exciting time for NASA robotic missions this summer.
