The G.A.N. Warriors Polar Plunge was a happenin' place at Hieronymus Park in Hamilton Saturday, February 22.

A large hole was cut in the thick ice at the pond, and with a temporary wooden pier, the cold water fanatics raised money by jumping into the icy water.

Ravalli County Search and Rescue and other volunteers were on hand to make sure the divers survived the sudden shock, and warming tents were set up to bring body temperatures back to near normal.

The money raised by the 2nd Annual G.A.N. Warriors Polar Plunge benefit the three young Bitterroot Valley brothers who are fighting the rare disease.
