The locally produced "Pride and Prejudice" won Best Non-Musical play at the Hamilton Playhouse Saturday, January 2, and captured five more Hammy Awards during the evening.

  • Best Musical - The Drowsy Chaperone, Director denise rose, Musical Director Emily Athman.
  • Best Non-Musical - Pride and Prejudice, Director Mara Lynn Luther.
  • Best Actor in a Musical - (TIE) Jamie Parnell in the The Drowsy Chaperone and Tim Shonkwiler in Singin' in the Rain.
  • Best Actress in a Musical - Tasha Fain in the Drowsy Chaperone.
  • Best Actor in a Non-Musical - Eric Monson in Pride and Prejudice.
  • Best Actress in a Non-Musical - Sasha Brooks in The Curious Savage.
  • Best Supporting Actor in a Musical - Austin Athman in The Drowsy Chaperone.
  • Best Supporting Actress in a Musical - Kay Ownbey in Singin' in the Rain.
  • Best Supporting Actor in a Non-Musical - Terry Croghan in Pride and Prejudice.
  • Best Supporting Actress in a Non-Musical - April Johnson in Pride and Prejudice.
  • Best Costumes - Pride and Prejudice, designer denise rose.
  • Best Set - Pride and Prejudice, designer Mara Lynn Luther.
  • Best Choreography - Singin' in the Rain, Choreographers Suzanne Casteel and Natalie Naidl.
  • Special Acheivement Award - Suzanne Casteel, Director of Singin' in the Rain.
  • Auditions for the first play of the 2016 Hamilton Players season, "Something's Afoot," will be January 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Playhouse. The play runs three weekends beginning February 19.
