There were no new positive COVID-19 tests reported Sunday, May 17, in the daily mid-morning Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services update. The number of people who've had positive tests remains at 468, with 16 deaths and 431 recoveries. Three people remain in active hospitalization. The DPHHS reported 26,885 Montanans tested so far during the coronavirus pandemic.

Again, with Phase One re-opening of the state, you are reminded to maintain the 6-foot separation in public, wear facemasks to prevent spread and, if you're coming in from out-of-state, please self-quarantine for two weeks. Montana's numbers are much different from other states, where positive tests are being reported daily. Many of Montana's cases came from travelers, according to health officials.
