The Ravalli County Fair starts the evening rodeo events with two crowd-pleasers Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday, August 28, it's the Rockin' RC Ranch rodeo, where teams of five cowboys and cowgirls compete in calf branding, team doctoring, bronc riding, wild cow milking, team sorting and trailer loading. Also Wednesday, the kids who can ride sheep will compete in Mutton Bustin'.

Thursday, it's the Stock Saddle Bronc and Bull-A-Rama with Red Eye Rodeo bringing the bulls and the riders from the Elite Professional Bullriders Association trying to stay on for the ride. (see photo below) Good prize money and special awards will end the evening. Friday and Saturday, it's the ever-popular Northern Rodeo Association rodeo. All arena events are free, included in the general Ravalli County Fair gate admission.
