Ravalli County has five "active" COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday morning, according to Karyn Johnston of Ravalli County Public Health. She said in a news release that the numbers are different from the Montana DPHHS report because some of the cases are out-of-state relatives visiting family. All cases are isolated and their contacts are in quarantine. One person was reported hospitalized.

Statewide, the Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 5 new positive tests Tuesday, with one new case in Yellowstone County and two each in Custer and Missoula Counties. DPHHS reports 614 coronavirus cases in Montana so far with 19 deaths and 535 recoveries. Testing continues to increase with 2,640 tests between Monday and Tuesday, leading to a 63,577 total tests in the state. Eight people are hospitalized currently. Johnston reminded the public to wear masks, continue distancing and wash your hands frequently. Montana's Phase Two re-opening also suggests avoiding gatherings of 50 or more people.
