Business is already being conducted in the partially remodeled Ravalli County Treasurer's office in Hamilton.

New teller windows on the east side of the expanded room are now accepting residents who need to pay property taxes or vehicle taxes.

Treasurer Dan Whitesett told KLYQ News that the remodeling project in the Ravalli County Administration Center on South 4th Street should be complete later the month. Sirius Construction is doing the work at a cost of $63,000.

Improvements include handicapped accessible windows, the ability to work with more people at the same time, a reception area and a more open area. He also said that all teller windows will handle either property or vehicle issues.

Whitesett asked the public to continue to have patience as the remodeling continues.
