About 2,000 men, women and kids bounced and ran through the University of Montana campus in the Insane Inflatables 5k run May 2.

The event, promoted by Townsquare Media, and sponsored by Karl Tyler Chevrolet and Karl Tyler Missoula Volkswagen started at about 8:45 a.m., sending "waves" of participants through the course of about a dozen large obstacles along the 5-kilometer course.

There were teams from several businesses and community groups who participated in costume as part of the fun.

Insane Inflatables chose Big Brothers – Big Sisters as the charity to benefit from the event. The organization will receive $5 from every registration.

The radio stations of Missoula Townsquare were all represented. Running the course were America’s Tallest DJ, Aaron Traylor of 107.5 Zoo-FM, Billy and Charene of KYSS-FM and Jon King with Newstalk KGVO.
