How tourism is benefited by proper use of "social media" is the topic of a special seminar Thursday, March 29, in Stevensville.

Glacier Country, a tourism region of Montana that includes the Bitterroot Valley, is sponsoring the session at the Main Street Stevensville Association from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

The instructors will show how social media is changing marketing, especially with tourism - one of the major state industries. The workshop is free and attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop.

It's open to any and all businesses, but it would be helpful if you could RSVP by calling 406-532-3234.

Racene Friede, Glacier Country Tourism Executive Director, said, "It's regularly offer workshops to help support and expand the tourism industry and help all of our partners stay on the leading edge of marketing."
