The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported the April 9th statewide COVID-19 positive tests with a new total of 354 - a gain of 19 from Wednesday's report. The report listed 36 people hospitalized, 6 have died and 157 are listed as recovered. State officials say they've tested 7,860 people so far.

In Western Montana, Flathead County had 3 more cases for 34, Missoula County-26, Lake County-6, Ravalli County-3,Beaverhead County-1. Elsewhere, Gallatin County reported 8 new cases for 128, Yellowstone County (Billings)-52, Toole County-18 and Helena-16. The daily reports are announced by 10 a.m. each day. The state restrictions require those returning to Montana from out of state or out of country to self-quarantine for two weeks and to report to your county COVID-19 Emergency team (in Ravalli County call (406) 375-6650. The public is also requested to use face masks when in public areas where 6-foot separations are not possible. Wash your hands frequently and if you feel sick, stay home.
