Stevensville Airport Gets Grant
Repair work at the Stevensville Airport apron has been awarded a $650,000 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program. Senator Jon Tester made the announcement Friday. The grant will be used to repair cracks in the tarmac surface and address other safety issues, Tester said. The airport is northeast of Stevensville.
Tester said in the news release, "Stevensville Airport is a gateway to Ravalli County, and this funding will provide them with the resources they need to make critical repairs to their apron. This will not only improve safety, but also make it easier for folks to come visit Stevensville."
