The final score was Hamilton 48 Libby 14 in Class A high school football Friday night. But Hamilton had a tougher time getting their win, with a stubborn Libby Logger team in the first half on a rainy, cold night in Libby.

The Broncs and the Loggers didn't score in the first couple of possessions before the Broncs broke loose with a Tyson Rostad keeper and a Tyler Jones extra point well into the first quarter. The second quarter was low-scoring, too. Hamilton's Rostad and Eli Taylor joined for a 55 yard pass and run for TD with a Jones extra point. Then Libby drove down the field to score, but the Broncs blocked the PAT, leaving the score 14 to 6 for the Broncs at the half.

The second half saw Hamilton take control with a 38-yard TD pass from Rostad to Liam O'Connell. A slippery football prevented the extra point. So Hamilton picked up a turnover and Tim Zohner went in for the touchdown and Jones kicked the PAT. Then, they did it again, with Zohner running across the goal line and Jones kicking the extra point. After three quarters it was Hamilton 34 to Libby 6.

A pass and run from Rostad and Eli Taylor with a Jones PAT brought Hamilton another score in the 4th quarter. However, their kickoff was returned by Libby's Sam Rosling for a TD and the 2-point conversion was successful to bring the score to Hamilton 41-Libby 14. Hamilton's Lucas Lant made the last scamper across the goal and a Jones successful PAT for the final score of the game. Hamilton won their 8th consecutive game, this time by a score of 48 to 14.
