The Grinch paid a visit to downtown Hamilton and helped wrap up the Hamilton Downtown Association's "Sheep Trail." Over a dozen small knitted sheep were placed in various stories in Hamilton. The sheep were the creations of the Knotty Knitters. Kids and their parents were invited to find them all and write down their names on an official entry, then return the entry to Chapter One Book Store. Saturday, December 21, the first 15 names drawn randomly from the entry box each won one of the sheep. (see photo below)

The winners this year were: Amity, Joelle, Genesis, Ezra, Finnigin, Petya, Mikaela, Oliver, Hasalyn, Maddie, Jocelyn, Hayden, Julian, Logan and Brannen. Many of the winners were at Chapter One when the names were announced. Then, denise rose of the Hamilton Playhouse read the story of Dr. Suess's Grinch, with the Grinch helping out.
By the way, the names of the sheep this year included Rambo, Ellie Mae, Robin Hoodie, Baba (black sheep), Jethro, Popcorn and Tex.
