The Daly Mansion's "Haunted Hayride" brought some ghostly surprises to those who attended this last weekend. The spiders weren't the scariest features.

First, there was a creepy Haunted House setup with a few "gotchas" along the maze-like path. After that, the groups climbed onto the hay wagons and were taken through various scenes around the Daly Mansion grounds, finishing up with two creepy graveyard scenes - including a beckoning ghost (see above).

And, when the final funeral scene was done eliciting a scream or two, the volunteers gathered for a ghastly group photo, including spider-zombie mutants (see below).

The weather was a little wet Friday night, but the outdoor event managed to escape the worst of the weekend weather in the Bitterroot for some chilling fun.

The Daly Mansion, along with Berkshire-Hathaway Home Services and KLYQ 1240 AM, thank all who attended this year's hayrides.
