It is officially the first day of Fall. But, the 10 day forecast is looking more like the first days of winter. The NOAA is predicting colder temperatures and precipitation as the week continues. With the fall equinox, we will now notice shorter days and longer nights. Meaning, if snow was to fall, it could very well stick around. With predictions of 12-24" in high elevations, this could be a great year to get that season ski pass.

According to SnowBrains

Both the 6-10 day & 8-14 day temp and precip outlooks from NOAA are showing below average temps and above average precip which is the PERFECT RECIPE FOR SNOW.

The National Weather Service is also showing temperatures falling and precipitation.
