It's the usual "Musical Chairs" competition. A group of contestants surround a group of chairs - with one less chair than contestants. The music starts and the contestants circle. The music stops. Whoever fails to sit is eliminated - along with one of the chairs. The music starts again. The elimination rounds continue until only one person sits on the remaining chair. The Hamilton Daly Days version Saturday, July 27, at about 1 p.m. is for adults. The grand prize is a beautiful recliner (see photo above), donated by Mark and the crew at Bitterroot Furniture.

You can enter the contest this Saturday before 1 p.m. at the corner of 4th and Main. It follows the ever-popular wiener dog races, which draw a huge crowd starting at noon. That's just part of the weekend activities in Hamilton. The free street dance Friday night with Joan Zen, the Jerry Wessels Les Schwab Car Show Saturday, lots of kids activities and more! Daly Days is sponsored by the Hamilton Downtown Association. Check their website for more information.
