Voice of the Montana Grizzlies Gets First Ever Hole In One
Not only is he an ace in the play-by-play booth, it turns out he is now an ace on the golf course, too. And it happened among his Griz buddies!
Congratulations to my good friend Riley Corcoran, announcer for Montana Grizzly football, men's basketball and any other sport where his services may be needed. More on that in a moment.
While participating in the annual Brosovich Grizzly Golf Invite fundraiser for Griz football Friday, Riley, who is a very accomplished golfer, scored his first-ever hole-in-one. Riley says he used a 6-iron on the 185-yeard Par 3 hole. I would have used a 6-iron at that distance, too. But it probably would have taken me three shots to get it to the green! And, no, I have never had an ace in my humble and meager golf career.
And more congratulations are in order for Riley, who recently signed a three-year contract extension for Grizzly radio play-by-play. A classy young man who I am honored to get to work with during football broadcasts and weekly Griz Coaches Shows!
