Watch – Winter Special Olympics at Lost Trail – Bright and Windy
The ski lodge was crowded with all the athletes and their entourages on the first day of competition of the 2016 Winter Special Olympics at Lost Trail Powder Mountain.
The staff at Lost Trail again reserved the mountain for the two-day event January 26 and 27. Randy Hodgson remarked that the crowd was bigger than ever before. He thanked the generous sponsors and all the volunteers who come back year after year to help the event be as successful as it has been.
The KLYQ video is from Day One of various scenes around the mountain, including John Boyd reciting the Special Olympics pledge. The Stevensville team was the host group this year and they had the Stevensville High School Yellowjacket mascot attending and a "bee" theme for the year.
