Winners from The Darby Dog Derby

It was the 13th Annual Darby Dog Derby at the Gibbons Pass area January 18 and 19. The two days of ski-jor and sled dog races had some stiff competition. The times from both Saturday and Sunday were combined for a cumulative time. Here are the Top Three Finishers in each category from the Darby Dog Derby Facebook page.
8-Dog teams:

  • 1st - Charmayne Morris with 4:32:21
  • 2nd - Spencer Reiss with 4:51:53
  • 3rd - Butch Parr with 4:53:27

    • 6-Dog teams:

  • 1st - Matt Johnson with 2:04:54
  • 2nd - Jenny Roddewig with 2:16:21
  • 3rd - Jill Wilson with 2:33:27

    • 4-Dog teams:

  • 1st - Charlene Pfaff with 0:53:35
  • 2nd - Tara Lynn with 0:54:43
  • 3rd - Brandi Williamson with 54:51

    • Mid-distance Skijor:

  • 1st - Kat Spencer with 0:42:35
  • 2nd - Jamie Johnson with 0:43:14
  • 3rd - Dan Hanks with 0:43:38

    • Sprint Skijor:

  • 1st - Dan Hanks with 0:29:30
  • 2nd - Teresa Petterson with 0:33:38
  • 3rd - Kat Spencer with 0:39:09
